Yellow Blend Coffee from Brazil is a 100% Arabica coffee with beans sourced from Brazil, specifically from the tropical Cerrado ecoregion in the southwest part of the state of Minas Gerais.

Yellow Blend offers a unique flavor profile that starts with a low, yet pleasant, citrus acidity, unfolding into a high sweetness with notes of marzipan, concluding with a delicate chocolate-nut bitterness. The coffee is full-bodied and exceptionally well-balanced.

The fresh green beans in our roastery come from the 2021/2022 harvest. We roast the beans to a medium degree, ensuring a well-balanced process that doesn't suppress the natural aroma of the coffee.

The caffeine content can be described as medium. The crema, the layer of foam created during the espresso brewing process, has a brandy-like color.

Cerrado Region, known for its uniform climate and elevation, covers an impressive area of about 1,400,000 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation. Approximately 3,600 coffee producers operate here, with the majority organized into large cooperatives. Plantations vary in size, ranging from 100 to 3000 hectares.

The average temperature throughout the year is around 20 degrees Celsius. The annual rainfall totals about 1600 mm, consistently occurring from December to March. The altitude ranges from 900 to 1250 meters above sea level.

The predictable climatic conditions favor coffee producers, allowing them to focus on quality and production without worrying about the weather. Additionally, the advanced technological practices of Cerrado's farmers enable precise control over cultivation and accurate determination of harvest times, which typically take place from May to September. The beans undergo a natural processing method, with coffee cherries drying in the sun for several days until the pulp becomes soft and brittle, separating naturally from the bean. This processing method results in coffee with high body, significant sweetness, and low acidity.
